METHANIZATION

Methanization is a biological process of organic matter degradation by bacteria in the absence of oxygen. For this reason, it is also known as "anaerobic digestion".

This degradation process will produce, on the one hand, biogas rich in methane and, on the other hand, a stable and mineralized product, digestate, which can be used as a natural fertilizer.

 THE FIXED BED ANAEROBIC DIGESTION

Fixed bed anaerobic digestion relies on the use of a culture medium that promotes the growth and development of bacteria.

The support provides an ecological habitat for the bacteria and increases their concentration.

The development of bacteria in a biofilm optimizes their performance and resistance to variations in the composition of the processed materials and the potential presence of toxic compounds.

The BioRenGaz innovation is based on the use of a patented, bio-based culture support made from recycling materials and 100% renewable.

 

The culture support, cost-competitive and locally available, can be reintegrated into the organic recycling loop at the end of its life through composting.

 

The innovative BioRenGaz solution has demonstrated technical performance similar to that of the traditional technology using a plastic, costly, and petroleum-based culture support.

The solution outperforms the traditional technology in terms of economic and environmental performance.

OUR INSTALLATION

Benefit from 4 times the efficiency of traditional continuously mixed reactor technologies (applied volumetric load).
The design of the installation (vertical silo) allows for up to 10 times the reduction in footprint.

Energy production is maximized by preserving microorganisms on the culture support.

Operational costs are minimized through reduced electricity consumption, maintenance, and operational losses. 

 

The availability of the anaerobic digestion installation is optimized (reduced maintenance duration).

The BioRenGaz technology is modular, and the number of bioreactors varies depending on the amount of material to be processed, with a technical room capable of accommodating 1 to 4 bioreactors.
